A Mime.

I imagine the drawer that I open,
from which I place a hat on my head.
I imagine the door that I go through,
as I walk out into fresh smelling air.
I imagine the flower that I pick from the ground at my feet.
I see the gratitude that the person expresses,
as the flower is handed over.
And a smile in black widens across my white face.

In Waves.

(Broke My Eyes - Donkeyboy)

I was on duty.
I did not know, I did not feel...
I didn't feel anything.
I lay down to take some sleep.
A faded glimpse of someone
I have not seen in a long time.
Someone of relevance,
someone who has passed on before.
I did not know that the seagulls came
and prepared your way.
You will be missed.

I Was.

Migrating. Well not exactly, I was traveling across the ocean in the line freighter, the newest talk of this side of the continent. Previously, I had arrived from my home land via small aircraft I had purchased in Belgia, which was privately owned by myself of course. I had gotten my pilot's license as soon as I was old enough. My family riches were not from a fund or inherited, let alone a good man. I had worked hard and claimed many dollars over my short years. An entrepreneur of sorts in this day and age. Oh yes, I was committed to my family, that is those who I kept close. But as for secrets and lovers.... mmmm. I had my Bentley and my cargo trunks forwarded long before I made my debue. My co-pilot would take the Fairey back to my personalized hangar which was of a myth in my neighborhood, as most manors did not have its very own hangar.

As you can tell I was no doubt the garish type and proud to boot. I walked up the plankway with my tiny silhouette draped in my black as coal Burberry I had bought in the port of England. If the surrounding patrons only knew what I was wearing under it! As you can picture, I was not accostumed to the lavish style of a flapper. I had long flowing locks which suited me in pynt up braids, or like today laid out in masses of curls dripping around my face. A hat I had picked up somewhere - oh yes Egypt, was pinned into my hair slightly removing some locks away from my delicate skin. I walked pacingly up with a Beatnick holding my fuming tobacco.

To my surprise I was greated at the port of entry by an old friend... hmmmm. Oh the memories that do return! I stated with glee, "I did not know you would be joining me?". He replied as he bowed in a to do manner and took my free hand to help me through the door, "News travels fast my lady, and I wouldn't miss being by your side on this journey for the world". He then said with a smile as he walked me down the corridor, "I have allowed for your personal belongings to be locked under guard in your cabin. I do hope that is to your liking?" My reply was with a wink, "We shall see about that when we check my cabin, but first I would like to insure that my 6 1/2 Litre is standing in good shape down below the decks." He quickly answered, "Of course my Lady." We miandered hand in upheld hand to the under belly of the massive ship while taking in the various sites.

I entered the sealed portal after my good friend opened it for me. I ran my pampered fingers along the shiny side of my motor vehicle, thus exhilarating the same sort of emotion that my Avion gives me, and of lesser note sexual contact. Yet some partners can really floor me. I think that this feeling is some sort of euphoria, and no doubt freedom. Yes... freedom. To drive, to fly, to enjoy, to experience all excitements in life. I forcefully walked towards the rest of my cargo and asked my partner to unchain the key which hung around my neck that dangled down and under my sparce clothing. He sensually touched the back side of my neck, even laying one lone gentle kiss on the nape of my neck in the process. After he handed me the key I opened each trunk to assure my gold bricks and wares were all battened down for my next great sea adventure. I spun around towards my friend and clapped my hands together simultaneously in joyous salute. "I do say, this is to be my most grand escapade yet!" He smiled that familiar baby face smile as we began to move along. Once again outside in the chilled rainy air he placed his Fedora back ontop his sun bleached barber cut. I have always loved a well dressed man, you cannot beat a suit and a proper hat to match such handsome beauty, sighs.

We walked along the top deck, the one I had rented for the journey. Where I can stand out alone at night and watch the stars as better weather comes with the turn of the planet and the direction navigated. To walk the wood flooring in my bare feet and let the wind pass through my most provocative appearal or brush directly on my milky skin imitating light kisses. I have a thing for being most comfortable you know. On the about face, I nearly bumped into my friend. Which left me with the most peculiar welling up inside. I had turned directly around to head torwards the suites below and he had been walking directly behind me the entire jaunt! Nearly colliding noses, I had glimpsed that sparkle that only those blue eyes behold. I had forgotten how lovely they were indeed. I put my hand up to my heart and brushed past him quietly as I swear my heart did jump a beat.

Pondering what had just occurred, we walked back down the quarter and into the galley. Wayward to check my personal belongs and to intervue the guard. I trust my friend's better judgement on the matter, but a good grilling usually lets people know I mean business and my business is of utmost import.

I turn into my retreat for the journey and find myself quaintly appeased and a smirk of satisfaction was quite hard to diminish on my painted lips. My suite, my cabin on the ocean, was to die for! Velvet furnishings, a luxurious view out the window, every space having a window, a sitting room, a parlour, a library suited for a study. The whole floor was miraculous. And the artwork, lavish and traditional. All one could expect to find to my likings.

I walked back into the bedroom, my friend held aback at the door as to show his polite romanticism. I saw the large safe in the corner and once I entered this adjournment, I immediately saw a large figure step up into the doorway behind my gentleman friend. The MP5 was a dead giveaway. My friend then turned to the welcomed intruder and said, "I furnished him with my best equipment for the job at hand." I in turn replied with a deep smile, "Well, you do know how to get the job done." I opened the safe with its many mechanisms and checked all my notes and jewelry. Everything was accounted for. I turned and dismissed the guard with the wave of my hand. A funny little thought danced in my mind as to what the guard might hear in the nights to come. I asked my gentlemen friend to fetch us some tea. I derobed my trenchcoat and threw it over a riotous Louis XIV armchair that sat in the corner. I laid myself over my bed of green satin and let my near nakedness take in the feel of the bedding. To my delight I could lay and watch right out as cities and ports would pass me by or better yet the sun gleaming off the surface of the waters.

I was not sure where I would get off this seafaring vessel at, or where I would venture and visit. But this I was sure of... I had been fortunate enough and more than prosperous on all aspects of life. This was just the beginning and I was intoxicated with expectations.

Wrap Yourself Up!

After my weekly body brush, I lathered up under a long warm shower. Yet this everyday commonplace was different today. I stepped out of the shower and grabbed my newly shopped towel. Just that little perk made my day, to wrap myself up in a new (washed before use, of course) towel. Try it, you might be surprised.

The Pursuit.

"It is the dim haze of mystery
that adds enchantment to pursuit."

- Antoine de Rivarol
