I had a friend back in high school... Every time we got together to head out to the beach, this song always played on one of the radio stations on the ride over. Thus, it became our beach going theme song. He drove a sidekick, soft top. Since it was generally warm, the top was always off and the wind would wisp around our faces, bringing warmth and light. My 60's debonair platform sandals always dangled out the side window, as my land legs were propped up with ankles crossed. He always chided me by saying I was born in the wrong time and in the wrong place. Today, sun beaming and this song began again... I couldn't but help recollect and laugh.
