Escense.

The light of snowflakes confined swirling down, yet in effect circular.
Up close, as bioluminescent ocean displays magnified in a tubular existence.
All shimmering violently,
Depicting separate stories,
And then coming together again,
To return.
An undeniable closeness to the aurora.
Crystallization of water in absolute beauty.

I agree, you should always try and be the best at what you do. I've come across at lot of mediocrity, and it can only get you down.

The rules of free writing are:

1) time yourself, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes.
2) Continue to write for the whole period, if you can not think of anything to write, simply write I can not think of anything to write, until you do.
3) write following your thought patterns, whatever comes into your mind, do not judge what you write or check for grammar spelling etc.
4) Reflect on your writing at the end of the time period, selecting parts that might be useful in future (especially if done in a creative sense).

I will find you a reference.

Very interesting. Similar to writing assignments way back when in school. Yet, a brain storm of mind to paper. Sounds almost the same style Nostradamus used.
