The Truth In Medicine.

Unfortunately, we are not taught what many Eastern World societies practice in taking care of our bodies naturally. I am educated in medicine and over the years furthering my education in natural medicine. Therefore, I hope in some way to share the truths for everyone's future to be brighter. I am sure that this will not be the last post on the matter, as there are numerous things that can be useful and helpful.

Blessing Of Oil.
Most countries oil their skin. Not only does this help with microflora (that help protect you from infection), it protects and improves the elasticity and keeps your skin young and fresh. If you have oily skin to begin with, you might try oiling and then taking a shower. Your body takes up the oil it needs almost immediately, and the rest you can safely wash away (just like hair conditioner). Lotion is less effective and dangerous. Full of parabens and synthesized in a chemistry lab, ingredients that can harm, damage, and deplete your body's number one barrier. If you do use lotion it should contain no alcohol or other manmade chemicals, organic is best. Check the ingredients; if you can't read it or it contains too many syllables, it was probably engineered.

Oil is also beneficial internally, hence cooking with it. When you ingest oil, it coats and protects the mucus membrane of your gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It also helps with digestion and protection of bacteria in your stomach and lining. Good oils to use for cooking and eating are sesame, sunflower, and flax. Flax being a good digestive counterpart and aids in flushing fat. Oils for skin surface use depend on what you like and what your body will tolerate.

Oil can also be used for beauty not just on the skin. For example, treating your hair and scalp, such as neem or sunflower oil. From fish to seal, and other animals, their oils have proven to promote health and immune function, along with other ailments.
That is just the beginning of oil and its beneficial or medicinal uses.

The Good Bacteria.
This strives in most of all our internal bodily organs: Skin, Upper Airway, Lower Airway, Mouth, Eyes, Genitalia, Stomach, etc. All of these organisms working together in a mutualistic relationship with your organs, help you live. Without these bacterium in place you would not be able to be you. The number one problem usually begins with your stomach. If you do not have good flora, then how can your body utilize what it ingests? Your much needed nutrients, minerals, vitamins, are just being shot through your system. The flora actually helps your intestines digest all products ingested and transfers the minerals, etc. to your very own being. Many people who have candida, gluten problems, or other forms of intolerances overlook the fact that their internal GI system is off balance. That is why so many, after they change their diets and with time, can often introduce foods back into their system that were causing problems. Our milk, yogurts, etc. are pasteurized and enriched with god knows what. Companies have stripped what is naturally given us to use and fortified it with junk they think is beneficial. We can't even use the fat battling techniques or preventions that our ancestors used... regular milk. It has been changed beyond healthy recognition. If you are interested in what you eat and where it comes from, take contact with the local farmers (even Amish, Mennonite, etc.) - and taste the difference, and reap the rewards of health. Then add probiotics to your diet, the good bacteria. Don't be fooled with probiotics enriched with yogurt, or drinks such as Kefir. Processed probiotics added to this or that usually contain massive amounts of sugar and other unhealthy processed stuff (such as milk, etc.). This stuff is good for you and can be used in the long run, but when you are really trying to heal your internal digestive system, stick to the tablets or all natural forms offered in your local health food stores. Once your GI system is in check, then you can start burning calories the natural way that was intended for your body and your flora will work itself out for the other major organs in your bodily makeup. (Warning: if you do suffer from an intolerance or candida especially, when you cut out sugars and kill the bad flora you might experience a time of getting worse before getting better - just like when you have a cold or the flu. As the bad bacteria is killed off it will dump toxins or decay waste into your body, thus making you feel worse. Once your body has had time to flush these toxins, then you should be good to go).

Siesta!
Simple biochemistry, sleep. Your body is comprised of millions upon millions of molecules just jamming around within your skin. Not to mention the compactness of tissue molecular makeup your skin is. Your bodily system needs rest and sleep to reset itself. Sleep is the number one cure for most ailments, from the common cold to extreme cases of coma like states. Your body simply goes under to perform a mass update, so when you wake you can start refreshed and renewed in a biologically scientific manner. Not only that, but your body removes wastes and buildups from the time your were awake in sleep state. Did you know that the body even uses oxygen in a different way when sleeping? A probable reason why persons suffer from such things as chronic fatigue is because they go go go and stress, without listening to their bodies gearing down for recovery sleep. Then they find their molecules on overdrive and then can't shut them down at all, because they are confused and sleep deprived. Many can find help with battling chronic fatigue and other related illnesses by simply taking a few 10 minute naps throughout the day. Set the alarm clock, and close your eyes. It could take a few nap sessions before you truly fall asleep, but it will come. This will also improve your nighttime sleep and how you fall asleep - no more frantic tossing and turning, mind on overdrive. Even for those not suffering from ailments find that a simple small nap(s) everyday can improve health, circulation, mental clarity, etc. Now, I'm not sure the Spanish had the right time frame for their siestas, as it should be stated that your body stores fat if you sleep after you eat. So keep that in mind.

Water Is Life.
I'm sure you have heard before that your body consists of over half percent water? This is most certainly true, and as most flora, fauna, and nature on this earth have that in common with you. But the real kicker is that most persons don't realize for their bodies to function properly and expel wastes in a timely manner they need to replenish this water in excess. Chinese believe that you should at least urinate up to 1 gallon a day to have adequate circulation. Just think if you do not drink the right amount of water, you become stagnant inside - like a cesspool. Yuck! If you ask me, that's no way to function, and just think of all the bad bacteria/flora that will create!

If you cannot obtain bottled natural spring water, you should invest in a purifier. If this is not an option, do the safest and healthiest route by boiling all your drinking water for 5-10 minutes. Boiling kills harmful bacteria and allows the gas exchange to occur removing chemicals used to clean the water (ex. chlorine, etc.).

Plus one is not educated on the number one leading eating habit no no - water vs. hunger. If your body is thirsty, you are already dehydrated! If your cells are working in a dehydrated shriveled up state, then they aren't very productive to carry out the tasks that they are designed for. Then after thirst and still dehydrated, your body signals that you are hungry. If you don't get the amount of needed water, then the food you intake contains water. The biggest problem I have seen is that persons feed their thirst. Instead of eating when you are hungry (in between normal mealtimes), try drinking a glass of water. Guaranteed you will not be hungry anymore and you have satisfied your dehydration. Then imagine that, you loose some weight in the process!

Simple, basic facts of life. Not even Eastern in decent, just merely old fashioned common sense.
If you don't believe me, try it for a month or two.
