Sometimes The Silence Is The Key.

(Tibetan Singing Bowls - Alan Lem)

Acupuncture is quite a routine actually. I remember years ago, thinking I should try this ancient form of medicine. I have never had music to accompany it, and quite honestly think that in the midst of deep meditation, induced through trigger points, music defeats the purpose.... so just what is the purpose? It works, it heals, it refreshes, it makes you become more aware of you and your surroundings. Was that the intended purpose? To spawn creativity, health, and realization.

I prefer Tibetan Singing Bowls for any meditation with the use of music. The first time I heard the singing bowls, every hair on the back of my neck stood up as a source of unknown energy streamed through familiar channels. The bowls represent an ancient form of resonance, handed down through generations.
Music meditation best suits me in a steamy bath. Figures, the giant spinning blue ball that we live on is actually a magnetic sound vibration resonance system. Water being the purest form of resonance.

Wake initiated lucid dreaming is what a friend calls the picturesque parade of visions, dreams, or thoughts (for lack of the true word for it). Falling asleep a little bit at a time, all the while having consciousness and the ability to attain anything you wish for.

I think that the plethora of thoughts passing through the mind's eye is just a form of what the Buddhists refer to as meditation. To calm the waters. Embracing them as they flow and venturing beyond to the next shore. Reaching the balance of shifting winds and violent waves, until serenity is achieved and the waters are still.

So the question is, where do you want to venture to today?
